v0.8.0 — helmora 0.8.0

- **A Mac that already runs Helmora can join another account.** The macOS menu bar app’s Add an account opens a Connect this computer window, the menu reads Connected as the account under its header, the setup-code item is gone, and Disconnect an account removes one account while the others keep running. The web Install step says how to connect a computer that already runs Helmora instead of installing again.
- **The menu bar app shows only what matters.** The Status submenu is gone; an update row appears only while an update needs attention. A bridge update on a terminal install updates the menu bar app too, and on Windows the menu app switches to the new build itself. An installer change stays reported as needing a reinstall until the installer runs.
- **A connected computer’s card lists what Helmora found.** When a new computer connects, its panel stays put once the scan lands and lists the agents found on it, and the first-run screen shows the found agents inside their device’s card. A device with no agent is listed too.
- **Installing an agent shows npm’s output.** The Connected step’s install card shows the install command and npm’s output as it runs, condensed to the lines that matter, and keeps it on screen after npm finishes under an Installed or Failed header. A run of identical lines folds into one with its count.
- **Installers say why they refuse.** A macOS package refuses a Mac whose Helmora belongs to another environment, and the terminal installer refuses to run over a package install; each says why, in Installer and on the web Install step. Windows Setup reports why an install failed to the web step, and keeps waiting for the bridge’s ready signal while another process holds it.
- **One folder, several accounts.** Adding a folder that another of your accounts already uses links the agent to both accounts instead of refusing. The agent’s page says it is shared, and Remove leaves only this account. A chat opened under the second account streams normally.
- **The Add agent test checks the Claude account.** For Claude Code, the connection test checks the Claude account the agent would run on.
- **Rename a chat the way each provider does.** Claude Code, Codex and GitHub Copilot chats gain the provider’s own Rename chat, and Codex’s own rename commands and chat metadata controls are available.
- **More of Copilot’s own commands.** Run in background, Research with links back to the chat the report came from, the native skills list with each skill’s details, and skills that reload without a model turn.
- **Codex Goals and background terminals.** Codex’s native Goals with a /goal shortcut, native controls for Codex’s background terminals, and a bare /skills that opens Codex’s skill browser.
- **The phone’s top bar reads like the chat’s web tab.** Its chevron opens the chat menu as a sheet.
- **A click survives a pointer that moves a pixel.** On the web, buttons are no longer selectable text, so a click that drifts still lands, while text meant to be copied stays selectable.
- **Queued sends and restarts.** A restart re-run goes before its chat’s queue, a chat waiting to re-run refuses a direct send as busy, a queued send shows in the queue from the press, and the queue recovers from a throw, a removal or a held lease. The line under the last reply while background tasks ran has been removed.
- **Composer and layout fixes.** An interrupted press no longer freezes a composer panel open and blank, and presses animate on iOS. A long message keeps one height, a steer’s row holds still from its first frame, an idle chat gets the round pill, the workspace picker dialog fits the window however many worktrees a repository has, a click on the effort chip’s meter sets that level, and tabs call a chat New chat only while it is new.
- **The account chip names the account by its full email on the desktop bar.**
