What is Helmora?

Helmora is a universal client for AI coding agents. A small bridge runs on your machine beside the agents you already use; the web and mobile app lets you watch, steer, approve, and continue their work from anywhere — while the agents, their credentials, and your code stay on your machine.

Private pre-alpha

Helmora is in an invite-only pre-alpha. Installing a bridge and creating an account require an invite — join the waitlist and we’ll email you when the beta opens. These docs describe the current product honestly, including what isn’t built yet.

The pieces

• Bridge — a Node daemon on your machine that hosts per-agent adapters and speaks the Helmora Protocol.
• Client — one app for web and mobile (iOS · Android), rendering live transcripts, tool calls, diffs, plans, and approvals.
• Relay (optional) — a managed path for remote sessions that forwards only end-to-end-encrypted envelopes. Same-machine sessions skip it entirely.
• Account service — identity and device pairing. Never in the payload path.

Supported runtimes

Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, and ACP runtimes (OpenCode and Goose today). Each adapter reports its real capabilities, so the UI only offers controls that actually work for the active agent.
